Hayden spent a year perfecting this look by taking photos with his favorite film simulations on Fuji cameras and filming the exact same scene with multiple video cameras. Time was meticulously spent to match the film simulations under dozens of conditions. Have fun experimenting and use #swluts with your favorite shots!
Focused on neutralizing & popping skin tones, the three variants of our LUTS (Gold, Emerald and Onyx) will bring warm and bright colors, suppress greens with silver undertones, or desaturate and darken your rec-709 footage. These were designed to work on all cameras and built to be used in multiple environments. As an added bonus and cherry on top, these luts come with a fourth “Enhancer” LUT. This gives you extraordinary power in controlling skin tone and exposure. It can be used by itself or in tandem with the other three LUTS.
Enhance - The Hidden Gem
The “Enhance” LUT is extraordinarily powerful and focuses on emphasizing your subject. This was designed to specifically enhance skin tone without affecting the exposure or color of brighter elements like the sky. The examples below only have the enhance LUT and have not yet been paired with Gold, Emerald, or Onyx. Enhance was not baked into the other LUTs to allow greater control over your final image.
